The Friends of the Deep River Public Library will hold their annual book and bake sale on the above date. Come early so you don't miss out on rock bottom prices for great books and some delicious goodies! All proceeds go directly to library enhancement and programs.


Author Talk
At the Deep River Historical Society Carriage House
Friday, September 19th
at 7:00 p.m.

Author, Henry F. Stocek Jr., will be talking about his new book, Queen of the Valley. Which details the infamous Deep River Savings Bank robbery of 1899. Stocek relives the night when Captian Tyler surprised four members of a robbery syndicate, killing one unnamed man who was later buried with a marker that bore the infamous "XYZ." letters.

Preschool Power Story Hour!
Fridays at 11:15 a.m.

This program features stories, songs with movement, and a craft.
For ages 3 to 5.

Tot Time
Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

This program will introduce stories and songs to children in a fun and interactive group setting.
For ages 3 and under.
