Returning Materials

Library materials can be returned in several locations:
  • At the circulation desk in the library
  • In the outside book drops
  • At any other Connecticut Public Library

Reserved materials will be held for 4 days. If the patron does not pick up the materials in 4 days, the reserve will be deleted and the next patron on the reserve list will be contacted. There are 3 ways to reserve an item:
  • Call (860) 526-6039
  • Search the online catalog. When you find the item, select "Request Item"
  • Visit the library in person and use one of the Online Catalog Computers.
If you are unable to locate the item in our catalog, you can change your search library to "Bibliomation" to see if other libraries have the item. Items can be requested from other libraries and we will notify you when they arrive here for pick up. As always, if you need assistance just ask a Deep River Library staff member for help!
