Witch Craft
in Colonial Connecticut

Saturday, October 24th
at 2:00 p.m.

Dr. Faye Ringel, a local historian, will present a spooky program on colonial witch craft. Learn all about local witch-hunts, why the Puritans feared the power of witchcraft and the serious consequences of the persecution of those that practiced natural magic. The FREE program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Adult Coloring
for Stress Relief

Thursday, October 22nd
at 11:00 a.m.

Studies have shown that coloring has hidden health benefits. Many adults that participate in coloring say that it is like yoga for the brain and the trend is so popular that it has spawned best-selling coloring books. We have all the supplies so come and have some fun!

Preschool Power Hour
Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
October 2nd, 9th, and 30th

Preschoolers of all ages and their caregivers are invited to a power hour of stories, songs, fingerplays, and more. No sign up is necessary.

Nappy's Puppets is back
with a Spooky Song Sing-a-long

Tuesday October 27th
at 10:00 a.m.

The local kindergartners will be visiting the library, and will be treated to a puppet show. Preschoolers and anyone else who's interested may join us for the show as well. Jim Napolitano, of Nappy's Puppets, will present some of the silliest sing-along songs known to man and monster alike!
